What, no Asda?! Oh noooo.... (I've also been looking all over for these at a decent price).

Fiddes Payne Mini marshmallows 200G for 90p (£4.50 per kilo). My Morrisons only had the Supercook ones, and they were too big anyway.

I found some thanks in Somerfield, was 99p. I only had to do 5 soups and I still have half a bag over.

I didnt buy the cones as i was only making so few, instead I put a single portion of Hot Choc in a cheap thin sandwich bag (from a roll) and got it in to the corner then twisted one of those metal ties round it and cut off the bag above. I made ten of these, 2 each. Then I put some chocolate buttons in cello bags I had left from card making (A5), cut the top off and folded it over and stuck it with celloptape. The marshmallows i did the same as the hot choc. Then I put a set of each in a clear cello party bag and tied the top with some pale blue curling ribbon and printed out some nice labels on the printer which I stuck on the front. They look quite nice, completely different to the cones but I think they are nice, will post a pick when OH finally gets round to taking some on his phone for me.

Took me longer to get the printer to print exactly in the place of the label than it did to make the bags up haha.
  • I made a start on 15 snowman soups last night lol ... got to go and get choc chips and some more mini marshmallows now.

I picked up a big bag of marshmallows for 99p from sainsburys, They were all white and perfect!

They look good - just wondering how much chocolate you put in in the end?

What about investing in something like this
    http://www.getabagsealer.com/heat-sealer-order.html

I'm sure with a bit of practise, we could whip up our own cones & other packaging from cheap sandwich bags & bits of cello  Would come in handy for bags of mixed veg & things in the freezer too :D & to stop me eating a whole bag of maltezers in one sitting :j

did anyone else order one of these mine still hasnt turned up yet and im wondering if i should be worried
