Hey elcoline, a person after my own heart! I wrote to our local paper to complain when our local pub was taken over by a new landlady (Bev Callard, aka Liz McDonald of Corrie...); the signs she put up all over the front were just FULL of grammatical errors. If I'd had a pot of paint handy I'd have done a Lynne Truss-style guerrilla paint job on them.
I am another person who boycotts companies when they can't be bothered to proofread their copy, but I always tell them why I'm not using their services. We must give them the opportunity to learn from their mistakes...Before you criticise a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you do criticise him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes.0 -
Why bother with the prices of Little Chefs. Tesco are everywhere and you can get an 8 piece breakfast for £2.29!!!!!
As an extended traveller I got a Tesco store finder and anytime I need food I do a quick search to find my nearest store. Those of you with sat nav, postcodes are included. Okay its not the best food but its cheaper and quicker than motorway services or Little chefs.
Don't forget you earn Clubcard points as well!0 -
Only found the offer today. My experiences of Little Chef have been excellent, used them all over the country whilst working.
Now use them when travelling and find the value excellent, where can you get a big breakfast for £6.99 for two, also found the staff to be very welcoming. They also have good offers on mags and papers. The offers will keep me happy for a few journeys until Christmas. Thank you.

Does anyone have an email contact for either Travelodge or Little Chef? I had problems last weekend with the Norwich Cringleford branch not honouring its own vouchers - have a complaint letter in PDF format but they only have webforms. I'm going right off Little Chef at the mo.... Thanks0
