Hello All!!
Sunny day here and all my washing is outside drying! :j And I have the chicken legs with tinned tomatoes, cellery, onion and carrots in the slow cooker for supper and it smells divine. :T
Somebody asked recently about bank accounts. I have Lloyds credit card and when I got into financial trouble they were the worst ones to deal with and according to the DMP thread I am not alone. I am sure they are great but don't get into trouble with them.
Sophiesmum: I am so glad you had a great day, I think that is a record of happy smilies in one post.
Bails: so sorry to hear you missed the concert. Maggots in the tea - euuuuw (DD said this morning the she loves your OH and that I can have you is she can have him)
Janey: Good idea to take couple of days for yourself and if you ask me I would definitey get the cat (but I would)
Skintwellie: Wow, that is impressive! :T
Lynda: :rotfl:hilarious, if I was braver I would try it in the park (with my dog there obviously)
It is a cooking day for me as I will try to cook to put stuff into the freezer. Still need to do: HM bread, potato and leek stew, potato bake x 2 so better get going
Catch up with you all later,

OH also got something he hadn't bargained for...2 maggots...at the bottom of his cup...once he'd finished drinking his tea :eek: YUK! He got his money back but still, imagine if he'd swallowed them (eek, what if there were more than two originally?!:rotfl:)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Hello to all
Only 80 days left to go in this challenge, but it's still enough for that once in a lifetime, around the world trip! :rotfl:
Skintwellie - My DS would have a Leonberger in a minute! They are lovely big dogs and so cute as puppies! But then I think that about most dogs.
Janey, I think you need a complete break away and suggest a visit here - I'll make sure there's more than just pink wafers next time and you can always bring a list of books and we'll go speak to some of the book dealers while you're here.
Bails, I have completely forgotten everything else that's been said after your comment - DH was out riding?! You talked him into getting a horse?
OK, the maggots bit was a bit distracting, too. :rotfl:
Sunny here, the washing is hanging out and I think I'll go and wash down the greenhouse so it's ready for dismantling for the move. That will be my 'deed of the day' before I make dinner and then get some clicks done, ads posted and items listed.
Have a good day everyoneI reserve the right not to spend.

Sorry to gross everyone out!
Nyk, OH was riding a mountain bike sadly, still working on the horses. There was loads of riding gear for sale at the car boot today and it was all I could do to stop myself going up for a sniff :rotfl:I had to console myself with a deep inhalation as I walked past (if you don't 'do' horses, this will seem a little odd;if you do, you'll know exactly what I meanhonest
)
I'm not well enough to give OH his massage which I'm very disappointed about so I'm going to shell out on a professional one for him - not very frugal but he is worth it. And so am I, as it takes the pressure off, then I can give him one when I find some energy.
What a beautiful day! Hope you're feeling a little better today BB xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

When we were little, we used to go to the market each Saturday as dad was selling his animals. We'd get pocket money and I'd buy plants (mainly fushias and coleus) which I filled up the dining room window sills with. Hmm. Maybe I need to start growing and propagating house plants again.
Janey, my friend did ballroom dancing too years ago. Even DH learnt it at school, althou he has never shown me.
Talking of DH, he is due to be praised! Our key got stuck in the yale lock. Despite being hopeless at DIY, he recalled that there was a spare lock with the house when we bought it last year, and has just fitted it. It works perfectly. Clever person!
We went out shopping today. £12.50 of fuel paid by nectar points. £10 wedding gift voucher used for Xmas presents. Half price sweeties for my brother's Xmas present (a lolly extravaganza; fun to make as well as eat). We spent about £70 all in all but probably had £100 worth of stuff).
Going to visit my friend this week for a break, which I am looking forward to very much.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Hello all. How is everyone?
I have lost my phone in my house somwhere and i cant find it. I thought i had put it in my back pocket of my jeans which i had just put in the washer but after stopping the washer and pulling out all the wet clothes its not in there. Im sure now though i had it in front room but i cant seem to find it and none of kids had it. Im waiting on someone ringing me but i think my phone is on silent.. which if it is it will bleep once. Hope i find it soon, im lost without it.
Been to church today for my DS school harvest and i have to admit i found it abit boring and i could not hear the vicar (even with his microphone on) because we were righ at the back in a corner for kids.
