When plants that flower are short of water they go into panic mode and produce flowers and fruit so they can reproduce. Chillies are hothouse/hotcountry plants so they would naturally like to be on the dry side. well done for keeping them going.0 -

If you cover the glass with the plastic first it cuts down a lot of the condensation. also make sure you open the window or something once a day.
drip strips on the sill and maybe one or two of those moisture catchers may help you.0 -
Happy Birthday slowlyfading!!
:bdaycake:
I hope you have (had?) a good day!
Brighton_belle wrote: »Taka - how's the declutter for xmas coming along now you are back at work? I have been cracking on with it but the to do list for each room is huge... Today has seen me clear the walk in hall cupboard and start filling it with loads of stuff in a more organised manner. Plan B if I don't get time to go through everything (very likely) is fill all the cupboards (and possibly the box room) with my junk and pray no-one needs to go into them.
The upside is I keep finding lots of lovely things I own - there are rather a lot of them though!
:santa2: Hello all newcomers and reappearing old friends!Hugs to anyone who needs them :grouphug: (sorry they are dodgy ones).
Right... time for tea and more decluttering :wall: :rolleyes:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Happy Birthday SF and Shaz
:hello: to all the newbies (I'm still new and finding my feet)
Haven't posted in absolutely ages, so a quick catch-up on what's been happening in my world...not much. I've been quiet as I've spent a bomb on Christmas (even with getting bargains and not getting into debt). I've got part of my Icesave money back but am still waiting for the ISA to get sorted and back into my Lloyds account.
I'll be making some snowman soup later today after spending about 2 weekings trying to find mini marshmallows, seems like everyone is after them atm!!
Made my first cookie tree on Thursday and gave it to the school fair yesterday. They sold it for £6  :T . (clicky if anyone wants to see)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SLOWLY FADING! :bdaycake:
Mrsmcawber, I hope it's nothing too serious that they need you back in the hospital. Look after yourself, we need you on this challenge next year for more veggie growing tips. (I have a little blog site, too.)
Purplevamp - yummy looking tree! No new thread started yet, as I'm trying to put it off until after mid-month so as not to confuse anyone. But it'll be along shortly, that's for sure... this is my lifestyle, it won't be changing for a while now that I've managed to get 'a little place in the country'. :www:
Today's events:- Found a big, kidney shaped pane of heavy glass that must have come off an old dressing table. It's now on top of my makeshift cold frame/mini-raised bed, where Mr Weasel (or Mr Stoat) popped out to say hello!!! Must try to get some wildlife photographs, but I'm not very quick on the draw with a camera.
- Stacked logs
- Deserted all thoughts of working inside or out and went for a nice, long, frugal walk along the edge of the forest.
- Now need to make a meal of some description to use up some cooked chicken.
I already do Tak€abr€ak and Butl!n$, which is one of the $t M!nver sites, so can't do L!ttlew00ds, but would love to hear if there are any others.
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
