Sounds like more information is definately required. Love to know how you can punch a baby out of yourself at 8 months gone. Sounds like she likes making up fairy stories to me.

Your friend could take her under her wing and give her the help she desperately needs - point her in the right direction about how to have some love for herself etc, not to fall into same trap as her mother etc.

Even if it turns out there was no baby, she will have a wiser friend she can turn to for help, and perhaps the friends son will realise he needs to be very careful where playing grown up games are concerned - they have very grown up consequences.;)

It would also depend on if, and when he had sex with his girlfriend - unfortunatley an ex friend of my niece is like his girlfriend she is 16 but been pregnant 4 times already had 3 miscarriages and 1 abortion, and tells every male she gets with that shes pregnant. My niece seen sense to get shot of her mate, but she does have real issues mentally, so girls do tell porkys about whether thay are pregnant(when their not) or that the latest bloke is he father.

If she is pregnant theirs nothing he can do until the baby is born then if he's in doubt to get a DNA test.

i totally agree, she is in the same situation, they haven't been together long and i'm sure this was the last thing she expected too, It's not just a shock for the father, i'm thinking it's probably worse for the girl as she has to go through the pregnancy and birth, i'd be mortified and wouldn't want to talk to anyone either!

sounds to me like your friend's son needs a lesson in picking suitable girlfriends! From the brief history you gave sounds like if the boy told the girl he wasn't interested in having a kid with her she'd miraculously not be preg anymore.
Its tales like this that make me yurn for a time when natural selection/survival of the fittest took care of people like her
