No, just in case boss spots it ;)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Our IT do supposedly check on internet usage per person but have never spoken to me about any of my staff, so I assume they are all abiding by company policy  (i.e. can't use work access for such things - and if I did, what would I do in the evening now I am limiting myself to one beer a night in true MSE style?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
  • Good deal on the car! I can't drive, so at least that saves me an awful lot of money...but i would love a Fiat 500. One day, when they let me behind the wheel of a car...

Fiat 500's are lovely. I've got their grown up big sister. Not going to say what kind of car but I've already christened her Juliet ;) .

Em, not quite same league Stuart .

OK, back to money saving. Have transferred tenants rent money into offset which now stands at...£2358.65 . OK, there is another £2328 to go in when bank release mum's money & I can repay what I took months ago to pay funeral. Still scary though. However, in May 2007 we were down to last £400 after purchase in Spain went through so, bearing in mind car money of £9222, that's an increase of around £14000 in 19 months, plus mortgage balance has also gone down in that time. £900 out to pay BTL mortgages at end of month though.

I am away for weekend  & away Monday night with work (free meals ;)) so won't be back till Tuesday (when I get new car :D). Time to regroup then and start focusing again. First target is to exceed £4,200 by start of Dec, assuming mum's money is through.

Thanks Stuart, didn't word last post very well. I was actually away with OH at leat weekend but as I have some clients in the area we stayed down there & I was in Bristol last night. We had a lovely weekend and I didn't spend too much :o , I also found 10p towards my overdraft challenge :D .

Am picking up new car today :T , need to put another £5 of fuel in current one to get me home & them to garage. I think that will be enough, but if anyone sees me pushing a VW Polo a few hundred yards from a Fiat garage feel free to stop & give me a hand ;) .

Have just joined qype (see referrals board) where you get points for writing reviews. I've spent just over an hour and already reached 1st rewards level - I think the answer is to find companies & services which haven't already been reviewed as you get a lot more points for that - I did all local tradesman I have used. There is a real opportunity for abuse here though - I could have posted reviews for everyone there & it's not fair when people have paid money to advertise, and others are relying on the reviews being truthful. I will mention it to the tradesmen I've reviewed next time I see them.

Transferred £95 into offset last night :T and picked up 3 mystery shops for next month, but no more in the pipeline which is disappointing.

My pay goes into new bank account for the 1st time next week and am getting very nervous about whether this will all go according to plan. I know work have done their bit so I am confident money will reach the account, but I'm worried the DD's haven't been transferred over and will come out of old account. They are not yet showing on A&L site, I will give them a ring later I think.

Better have brekkie & get to work. Have a good day all :hello:

well done GG another £95 towards your goal.

r.e. dd's maybe worthwhile contacting some of the companies to warn them about the possible problem.
