Another case of kitchen envy here. I really hope i can stretch some of the in law money for a bathroom towards a kitchen too. Yours is gorgeous.

Sent a message to Nescafe earlier via their website - all Nescafe Collection 100g coffees, including my Alta Rica, have been recalled due to possible glass contamination . According to my DD 10,000 jars have been recalled. I had 2 jars bought on offer before I went on holiday, both unopened .

£10 cheque from Nestle just arrived - only sent message Sunday night & had paid £5 for the 2 :)

Also prize from Closer mag - anto-ageing serum, shoukd fetch £5 on ebay :) (I don't need it, being so youthful myself :rotfl:)

Fantastic kitchen and at a good price well done for sticking to the budget. Don't worry too much about the mortgage challenge stuff all of a sudden you will be ahead. Don't blame you for giving up MS they really don't earn you much I am only doing nice ones (food and stuff from shops I actually want) plus work pay all my petrol (well I am taxed on it) so might as well use it. I did do a nice one £45 for opening a 2nd current account now that was worth doing.

Take care and keep up the good work

Thanks TG. I looked at the MS v carefully but with my pay rise I pay 40% tax so it really wasn't worth while. When you look at a certain petrol station job I used to do, £5 pay and £5 spend. £1.99 on coffee, remainder on anything so £3 of taxable benefit, and bearing in mind that what I bought would probably cost only £2 in a supermarket, and I'd be taxed on it at 40%, it really wasn't worth it.

What I will be doing though is making good use of my extra time. So, starting to shop around - today I spent just under £7 in Lidl on fruit & veg, priced it on mysupermarket at £5 more in Tesco , so will be paying that to mortgage.

Thought of some extra columns to add to spreadsheets so off to do that while watching England attempt to beat USA

Ha, so much for England beating the USA.... and Algeria .

    Warning random thoughts:

Bl**dy freezing yesterday , had winter boots & sweatshirt on (which now fits :)), seriously thought about putting gloves on :(

Sat night on own + 2 vodkas + ebay is not a good combination . And I have increased bids on some items since :o, hopefully won't win any :rotfl:.

Still, 4 items I have listed have bids :) (so that will pay the postage on what I'm bidding on :o)

DS cut grass & managed to break window with a flying stone . Can I get my act together to sort out getting it fixed? Can I heck :(.

Need to sort out freezers & make a list of meals I could make :A.

Monarch flights for next year on sale, from & to my preferred airports. Easter is late & May Day hol on 2nd - got flights for £90 each, 11 nights away for 4.5 days leave :j. OH going back before me so I'll have 3 nights on my own, which I'm pleased about, I love it there on my own :). Also booked week with friend for June :T. Won't be booking any more at present, will be going back to Gambia in Jan & supposed to be going NY & LV at end of year, not sure how many days that will take (although OH hadn't quite realised that NY & LV isn't just a long weekend :p). Feel better with something booked :D.

Am waiting on washing to dry (on the line :A) so I can take extra ironing to cleaner :o.

Nice man stopped me as I was going into garage & said 'that's a lovely top love, really pretty' :D. Felt v chuffed, as if I'd knitted it myself :rotfl:. Was a Next top, £2 from charity shop, but it is very nice (& fits lovely as long as I don't sit down :o). So, if nice man is reading this :kisses3:.

    Hope all enjoying weekend.
