Help - dishwasher won't drain

My Haier dishwasher didn't wash the dishes last night and when I opened it there was water in the bottom of the machine. It was working fine up until then, it's only 18 months old. I've checked the instructions and they're not very useful. When I try to switch the machine on, nothing happens. Any ideas what I should do and…

im having problems with my hotpoint dishwasher. when i put it on it starts the cycle but half way thru the delicates button starts flashing. i have checked the pipes, filter, spray arms n cant find a problem. the model is FDW60P. i bought it aug 2007. does anyone know how to reset the digital panel??????????? any suggestions would be helpful as i hate washing up!!!!!!!!!!!1
