  • OK, I'm getting confused now Sadly
You went BR in February, they exempted the car back then, they didn't implement an IPA back then. Have you advised them of a change of circumstance recently or has this just come out of the blue?

I don't see how they can exempt a car in February, then say you can't use it in September. Sounds like someone at the OR's office is being a little jobsworth.
yes they did exempt the car the car is in my name and my br have gone on to rtlu i think they are waiting on my insurance claim on car(another issue which has become a joke)but no mention so far on any thing else but they have put a ipa on my partner who is the one which works i,m the house husband

I see, well like we said, if she's not allowed to use the car she needs to get to and from work safely somehow. If you tell them how much taxis and buses are going to cost they might back down and allow the car costs. if they don't then stuff them, your wife might as well cut her hours back so she earns less until she's discharged.

Not sure what else to suggest, apart from trying to make a case over the transport costs.

As you said in your other thread:

they just rang us back they won,t include car insurance,or anything to do with the car, they told us are food bill is to much they say £480 a month for 2 adults 3 children 1 dog we have not included any savings for birthdays, xmas, plus are eldest child needs a pda for school which school suppys for £10 a month we have not included hair cuts etc.what they are doing now is sending us out another form to fill out and we need to break everthing down is there anything we can write down

ps on the car front my partner works at garage/supermarket she works 1 shift where she finishs 11pm so she misses last bus plus on a regular basis she has to refuse the local thugs on drinks ,cigs so she does not want to be hanging about when she finishes(the security guard in the building gets abusive all the time when he leaves she told this to them but they took no notice.
    sorry about my grammar
