OK, they haven't included child benefit, but if they've disallowed all the car costs, and you can't afford to insure the car you will have to add in travel expenses because it would be illegal to drive it. How would your wife get to work without a car, I can understand that you don't want her to come home late at night so tell them she needs a taxi home, and whatever the cost is for her to get to work by bus/train.

OK, I'm getting confused now Sadly
You went BR in February, they exempted the car back then, they didn't implement an IPA back then. Have you advised them of a change of circumstance recently or has this just come out of the blue?
