I've actually got a 3com router at home (I'm out of the country right now) which has 4-ports built in - so does that mean if it supports "bridge" mode it could possibly be used for my purposes "as is"?
its possible. you may need to upgrade the firmware on the box (mine didnt originally have the feature)... flashing is easy enough, just put in the 3Cxxxxxxx model number in the website and see if theres a new firmware. if there is, just upload it to the device using the web interface...0 -
