do tesco and talk talk give you 125 mb webspace
do tesco and talk talk let you phone too other countries 5p per mins, horses for courses.
also you can switch your rental to homecall for 9.99 per month compared to 10.50 with bt,this also qualifys you to free phone call on xmas day
not sure but something like 2hours to mobile networks
or 2 hours to foreign destinations0 -

I don't actually think anyone is saying here that TalkTalk or Tesco "let you phone other countries for 5p a minute"
I would rather have my line rental through BT who DO allow you to use a CPS then I can phone NZ for 2p a minute through 18866 and free UK calls evenings and w/end via TalkTalk, but as you say horses for courses!
And I have to consider my calls throughout the year and not just on Christmas Day0 -
I also have too consider calls all year not just xmas day talk talk will give you evenings and weekends free if you take there broadband package ,where as homecall give unlimited free local and national calls anytime of day to uk landlines ,but is this worth £5 extra per month0

I run my own playgroup so having free day calls is useful.
Im still thinking homecall is a better option for me in this instance, or have I missed something?0 -
AHA, re-reading the posts Im beginning to understand and now think it would be cheaper to do talktalk for evening/weekend calls, 18886 for daytime and tesco/talktalk for broadband.
I already have NTL Broadband. Im checking to see if we would get staff discount on the Tesco broadband as dh works there except it's telling me Broadband is unavailable in my area ??? ??? ???
Off to talktalk to see what they say!0 -
Once you have signed up to TalkTalk you should then get all the parents of the kids to sign up then you would have free calls to them at any time of the day ;D ;D
Plus referrer fees to help with the kids Christmas party, lol.0 -

FANTASTIC IDEA! (any ideas why they're saying there's no broadband available in my area. I'm already on twice as fast NTL ???)0 -

Is that TalkTalk and Tesco? Not sure but I believe its something to do with the broadband system they use. No doubt somebody with knowledge will come along and explain but meantime I would just try ringing them to find out, especially if you can get a staff discount with Tesco.0 -
Well Tesco and talk talk are saying no broadband. Not sure how they differ from NTL.
will wait for someone else!
thanks!0
