The seller refunded my echeque with no hassle. I couldn't cancel from my side.

I left brief neg. feedback....refused sale.

Tonight the seller has raised an action with Ebay saying I have failed to pay!

I have responded to the seller that I have no intentions of reporting him to Ebay as it would not help/have helped the situation.

    I await his response.

    Where to now.

reply to the unpaid item dispute with your paypal payment transaction number to prove you paid

Thanks pinkgem. I have only got round to reading this. The dispute has now ended. His sole purpose in raising the dispute was to get his Ebay fees back. Which he has, as I have ageed that the transaction did not complete and never will!
Bl**dy unscrupulous ticket touts! NEVER AGAIN!

For anyone interest I managed to get the tickets for face value through Gumtree. I also had an offer through Scarletmist.com which promotes ethical buying and selling of concert tickets.

I cant quite get my head round this still. But I think I have just been charged 35p by Ebay for this transaction. The other downside is that he can now leave me negative feedback! Oh the joys!!! not!!!

Buyers are not charged on ebay nor on paypal if the refund is done properly so you need to find out what has happened. Also sellers cannot leave negative feedback but buyers can.

I think it is because I have agreed that the transaction is not completed?

No, he has just gone for a mutual (which incdentally you could have refused with no penalty), there is no charge on a buyer at all. Where exactly is the charge showing?

Thanks soolin. I have cleared up the charge matter, it was something completely differant, just coincidental that it came at the same time as the dispute.
I obviously did not read the small print that I could have refused. I really just wanted it over and done with.

Thank you all for your advice.
