Maggie, Stolt, Bibbitybob - great photos, all looking really good :). I love that bathroom vinyl, Maggie. Looks just like real stone. I'm sure you'll sort that kitchen gap and in a few weeks time will have forgotten all about it. But these people do amaze you, don't they? Why on earth don't they just check! My flooring's going down this Thursday and Friday, I hope it looks as good and all goes smoothly. Fingers firmly crossed.

I'm amazed your garden is so far advanced, Maggie, so much in bloom. Having said that, it is nearly April! I think I'm in a time warp, life's just passed me by these last six/seven months. But I have noticed some really large bumblebees these last couple of days, both here and at the bungalow. Now that the bungalow is almost finished (can it really be ........ am I dreaming .......) I've noticed the garden again :(. Front and back; can't face it for a while though.

Stolt, good for you re. Glassbox.

I wonder how Andy and his wife are getting on.

    Hope

As above, all the best Andy.

Sorry I haven't been on here much guys. I've spent a month with my wife in CHile/Falkland Islands and now back in the renovation field! Currently painting the outside of the house, well sills, around windows etc and planning some new interior doors before we get a remortgage on the house.

LOVING the garden, it's had it's first mow and we've planted trays and trays of seeds, both veg and flower to do us for the Summer/autumn months!

Really enjoyed reading all the updates, everyones progressing really well.

    Any pic updates LC?

Just popping in to say my son Oliver was born late night Friday 7lb6oz :)

Though it's been a long eventful journey! 14 hours of induction on Friday was followed by emergency c-section as baby was showing signs of distress.

Unfortunately his blood sugars didn't rise enough on Saturday so he was admitted to SCBU (special care baby unit)...but when there they had troubles passing a feeding tube down into stomach and suspected a blockage of oesophagus..so i was called back in a hurry late night Saturday having been told if it was a blockage he would be transferred to a london hospital. Fortunately it didn't come to that as they tried again whilst i was on my way and when i got there were waiting x-ray results which then confirmed was ok. It's been a long few days since. Oliver's Mummy was discharged from ward yesterday and moved to a room on SCBU with Oliver. Blood sugars now seem ok...just waiting to ensure his feeding is established before they let him home...which the dr told us today should be Wed/Thursday.

Today both sets of Oliver's grandparents visited him with my parents taking me shopping for baby essentials and for dinner too so the first day i've had a decent meal and the first day i haven't been at the hospital for 12 hours or more right through! Must go get some kip as back at SCBU in morning in time for doctor's round.

Many congrats Andy and well done to Mrs AB! Your life has now changed forever. :D (We'll be expecting you on the 'stressed out parents bench' sometime in the not too distant future :D)

Just kidding. Enjoy him, he'll only be little for such a short time.

    Look after yourselves. x
