Hi Lisa, are you living in your house now, is it liveable etc? How much more spending would you deem necessary to make it habitable? Sorry, I'm no expert and not sure how I can help out but will make any suggestions if poss!
Were living in it now and there are no more urgent spends needed on the house. Theres still little jobs to finish but nothing urgent, so thats a relief! Just need to make a start on reducing outgoings so I can get the cards paid off!
Still need to have a good clear up and take some piccys of the finished house for you guys!0 -

We got ours from John Lewis - good quality and not that expensive. We opted for metal ones - one corded set and 2 non-corded.
edit - should have said they were tracks not poles.0 -

That link has taken me to a log in page Pawpurrs, a password is required to see the album. I don't know anything about photobucket but have seen other peoples photos on there so presumably there's a way to see them without a password.0 -

Hey Lisa. I know it's not very nice worrying about debt
We are lucky in that we borrowed some money from my parents but every month fighting a loosing battle to stay in credit in our current account as don't want to borrow anymore. We'll get there.
I find it difficult when I think we are pretty good with our money and reallly try to spend as little as possible. It gets difficult when we need new tools or something for the house that is just unavoidable.
It's good your house is almost here because you can sit back for a bit and concentrate on those debts. That DFW board looks good. Think I might have a nose!
Stay positive Lisa and take one step at a time. You will get there .... even if it takes a while.
Sorry I can't be more help.
Pawpurrs - I can't see pic yet either0 -

Laura Ashley
Got home yesterday after a long day at work to find major progress and it resembles a bathroom properly now! Loo wedged up, all tilling done on walls, screen on, shower 'up', today Andy's laying the UFHeating and tiles and tomorrow, basin etc! Some pics taken this morning, hope you like! We are having ivory grout so looking forward to that being done too!0 -
Looks great suicide!!! Bet you happy with the progress. I love those taps also0

Thanks guys, over the moon with the progress, I think if Lowri and I tried to do it with our time available would have taken 6 months+ and not to anywhere near as good a standard!
The taps were a 'chance' really. Dad had the taps above hanging around in his garage so we only have to buy the basin taps, a nice moneysaver!
Pleased with the screen also, when it's out it doesn't look amazing but most of the time it'll be away so no probs!0
