They tried to get me to do a balance transfer onto it rather than pay it off :rotfl: 10/10 for trying, that's the third time! they even said that it would reduce my average rate of interest :p halifax are so unethical!
  • Hi guys, I am still feeling pants, its been for 3 weeks now, got some more tablets to try from doctor.
    Today I have
    - got free prescription
    - got s sick note (on sick pay)
    - went to Tesco, got £3.50 toaster and some bits, used loads of extra points vouchers and £1 worth of coupons. I also got a sewing machine on special offer, £25, only need to take 5 pair of trousers up and its paid for itself, also planning to make some of my own sanitary protection, just like the ones I bought.
    - just vomited while typing this out so wont be eating much more
    - will not be doing a right lot, maybe some things for business tonight

Oh painted lady, you poor thing, how absolutely horrible for you. I really do hope you feel better soon, being under the weather for so long can leave you feeling so down.

Sending you lots of virtual love and best wishes

I can't say I have done too much today:-

    1) Put a payment of £2.41 into my savings account cos havent bought any ciggies
    2) Went to Tesco after reading a thread on here about chicken and bought some packs of value drumsticks for about £1.20 each rather than paying £2 each for a pack of two fillets.
    4) My local Co-Op are doing boxes of Rice Krispies for £1.09 so I bought them from there rather than paying £2.09 in Tesco :D
  • Well, as to being addicted to the computer, lol apart from the younglings (oh yeah and the brother) I live alone my DH lives 300 miles away, which is probably just as well as he doesn't do money saving - what DH wants DH gets - learnt the hard way - and trained him to pay so I don't stress too much. - and means as I am studying - no one questions me being on the computer sneaky huh?! :)

Sorry to hear you still poorly Painted Lady
Andan - yeah still have list envy you exhaust me just reading
Piquant - tee hee on the extra purchase, grr to the photos
    Claireabelle - well done
To the rest of you I hope your day is full of sunnyness or at least small bills x
I got another star - when did that happen? Must be all my bogus gardening advice!!!

I love this thread, no news from mr oeuf - oh well I will get a settlement figure soon!!
