Hello! I'm loving this debt free wannabee stuff, I'm reading tips everyday, so today I have:
Cancelled my current home and buildings insurance, and have gone online to get Tesco's, actually making £26.37 in the process(Mr T gonna send me a £50 voucher for a spend at his shop)
Printed out a calendar for Oct, and filled it in with DD and SOs.
Worked out a budget for next two weeks
Made bread yesterday (wheat free)so I can take sandwiches to college this evening, usually I buy a crunchie and crisps
KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -

-Am off to college shortly to do my nvq, whilst work pay for me to be there and i get a qualification
-I will take a drink and a biscuit with me so i don't buy from their canteen!
-I will sort out advertising material for old work place
-I'll go into old work place and put up advertising material, plus see everyone
-Will also rack old colleagues brains for ideas for my new job and what to implement, plus borrow some of their resources!
-Have put the rest of the clothes out to dry
-Will make meals from storecupboard, foreign student is not home today, so will be one meal less this evening, so saves money!
-Will do some surveys
-Will attend supervision tonight for helpline, all part of the counselling plan!
-Will email some more voluntary placements regarding trainings
-Look for mystery shops
-Will continue writing rough copy of counselling assignment
-Continue typing up assignment, i want to get the first part completed and typed up, there are three parts!!
-I will sort out handouts etc from nvq today
-Continue submitting website to search engines
-Write my counselling journal
-Try and read some of counselling book
-Catch up with a friend tonight, who also does the helpline

Good morning all!
Today I have filled a plastic container with water from my tumble drier to use on my iron instead of buying that smelly water (thanks moneysaving old style forum!!)
I've listed loads of stuff on ebay - target to raise by end of Nov is £150 to pay for all the kids christmas presents.
And I'm working on getting my OH to cancel a holiday we have booked - four days away between xmas and new year. We really can't afford it so I want him to cancel.
But thats all for today so far!!
Miss P

Andan - I still have list envy - and I have to say my DD has expressly told me that its bad for the planet to iron so we avoid it like the plague (unless its a life or death situation)

I'm trying to convince my boss to pay for my MBA
(saving could be about £5K!);
Bought Tesco own brand goods at lunchtime (I mean, malt loaf for 18p? Superb!) - spent about £4.20 on own brand stuff and now got to carry it home which I kinda forgot about
Still plugging away at Pigsback for those 2,500 points from Petplan insurance taken out in June;
Checking for the £5.03 I transferred from Slicethepie to paypal.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Fay - it was just plain naughty of me
, but I might be able to pay the whole lot off this month, if things go to plan, I've requested £200 from paypal and I'm listing, in a very half-hearted fashion, on ebay. I took a whole set of photos and somewhere between camera and computer they disappeared  so I had to set up and take them again!
I love the term list envy:rotfl:
Bathgatebuyer - fantastic name, by the way, can't imagine how you came up with it, actually I can, but I'm sure I've got an over-active imagination
I've bought bargains like that before, never considering the carrying home of them. I find you get very attactive red ridges in the fingers, if it's a long walk... Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
Total debt today: £0 - debt and mortgage free 29th November 2013 :T
