Plusnet have acquired Metronet, see Metronet's FAQ. Plusnet are widely regarded as being A Bad Thing. All my previous recommendations for Metronet should be considered null and void.

Horses for courses really. Plusnet are a bad thing for some people and a good thing for others. I don't have any problems with Plusnet but I know others who do (mainly because they spend 24/7 running p2p services on a 'basic' user account).0
