taxi, I said that I would do the mystery shops that would be silly to turn down - so for example, if they are paying for me to have a meal for the whole family, then it would be daft to turn that down as it is a free night out. Similarly, the hair cut one would have been daft to turn down as it has given me a £37 haircut for nowt! But the ones where I rush around in my lunch hour pretending I need a tyre for my car, might get ignored for a few weeks!
The student will come with us - OH is working so no problem there.
My next target is my egg loan - simply because it can be overpaid without penalty, and it is the biggest amount outstanding and it is in MY name, whereas the last two debts I have paid off are in OH name. Ironically, the APR is the lowest of all our debts, but I just fancy getting rid off it......it has caused me hassle in the past, when their computer sent it to a DCA despite me never being so much as a day late with an overpayment, which then took me a year to sort out, with all the "courtesy calls" from the DCA a dozen times a day that went with it. My "compensation" because it was all Egg's fault was to reduce the APR right down, but to be honest, it is a big loan and I would like to see it gone.
