I think, having done some more looking at the numbers, that I can work with the new plan (if indeed it can be called a plan!) - it will take a couple of months to sort out completely because it involves moving mortgage payments and things like that which need careful timing, but it should be up and running ready for the new year, and will hopefully make the overpayments easier too :D

I have been for my run, 4 miles - It was very dark with no moon to light up the way, so a little strange, and of course there were loads of groups of teenagers out and about which is unusual, so I didn't enjoy it quite as much as i would have liked - but I am glad I went. I will see if I can manage a slightly longer run over the weekend, in between the rainstorms that are forecast!

hope you have all had a good evening! Happy Halloween!

Happy November - pinch, punch and all that!

We have a busy ski weekend this weekend, but I still have a fair bit of everyday stuff that needs to be done, so I will make a weekend list:
    • get everyone skiing at the right place at the right time today and tomorrow!
    • [strike]Do online banking, update snowball and colour in squares[/strike] can't update until Monday
    • Do daily scratchcard, clicks etc
    • [strike]Meal plan for the week and make shopping list from it[/strike]
    • [STRIKE]Tescos for the weekly shop[/STRIKE] Put online order in, using coupons from MSE, for delivery on Monday - £85 for 2 weeks shopping - not too bad!
    • Write to the solicitor re neck/shoulder
    • Mystery shop
    • Go for a run
    • Washing and ironing ready for school/work on Monday
    • Tidy and clean kitchen
    • Tidy and clean lounge
    • Tidy and clean hall
    • Eat sensibly
I hope November is a good one for all of us - traditionally I suppose it can be a tough month - getting ready for Christmas and needing lots of comfort food to see us through the yukky weather and dark evenings, so we have to be strong!

    xx

Morning Hypno sounds like another busy day in the Hypno household. Hope you have allocated slots of lots of :coffee: .

November is definately a tricky month isn't it. I definately find the colder weather makes me just want to veg on the sofa and not do a thing.

Oh yeah, here's to vegging on the sofa. And unfortunately, here's to long lists that have to get done!

Something from the last page, hypno, really caught my eye - even tho you've been at the new firm such a short time, they want to pay for you to go private - thats pretty good, you know! You've made a really good impression, obviously - well done you.

Well I can't colour squres in!! My "old" bank would make payments on the 1st month, regardless of whether that is a weekend or not, but the new bank obviously waits until the first working day after......so I will have to wait until Monday before I can update my snowball etc.......bah!

On the plus side, I have just withdrawn £50 from the scratch card sites - have been building it up until I got enough to colour in a square! It is a good start to the "make £10 a day challenge" for November, and when I get it in the bank account, I will pay it off the egg loan, and colour in a square :D

Must get dressed so I can get the children skiing - will take the lappy with me, so no doubt will catch up with you later!

Hi KC, we are very lucky in that our firm are a real "family firm" and as such treat their staff as family too - they are excellent, and have a very low turnover of staff because they treat everyone so well (provided we work jolly hard for them of course - they take no prisoners!).......

The "father" of the firm genuinely cares - something that is missing from a lot of places nowadays sadly.

I really am very lucky to be there.
