She might notice the rocks or the ball and chain though, and then I wouldn't get the full details of how much training she is doing!

I need to do this covertly if I am going to do it at all. Perhaps I should be posting this under a nom de plume so that she doesn't get suspicious.........;)

Nail one of her trainers to the floor - then she'll go round and round in circles and not get too far ahead! LOL

So where do you two run?
In Nelson, it's so hilly that wherever you go, it's really hard work. You can run along the Leeds/ Liverpool canal but even that goes up hill because of all the locks at Barrowford!!! And you run the risk of getting toxicara from all the dog mess! Ther is a nice park near my house but even that's on a 45 degree angle!

  • Hi - 2 things... I thought pania wasn't supposed to be running? But more importantly have you seen those cctv cameras you can put on your cat to see what it gets up to in the day?

Also, I thought you were supposed to be taking it easy this month hypno??!

Strumpet - we live in Norfolk......very flat, so we are unaccustomed to anything more than a gentle slope :o Liking the nail/trainer idea though :rotfl:

P, ooh sorry, didn't see you there. We were talking about chocolate, lattes and housework - nothing to do with spying, or running

GTD - she is allowed to run now. Although what we do is more of a "jog" than a "run". In fact sometimes it is more of a "jog-let" :o:o:o

and yes, I know I am supposed to be taking it easy, but I just don't know how to do that

The best way to get you to run Hypno, is to tell you that there's housework and ironing to be done, kids to taxi around and mystery shops to be done.

Except you run towards them, when normal folk would run in the opposite direction!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh I am SO with you on the Ypres state!!! A very apt description there.

Perhaps you have the faulty gene too

I have that faulty gene too - the only one that doesn't is my DD but that could be her age! Very young! I know everyone feels the same but there are times when you just want to wave a magic wand a) for the Mary Poppins effect and b) to resolve historic debt without effort!

Just a thought, I could only really do mystery shops at the w/e unless it was at late night supermarkets - are there sites that are happy with that or are most of the jobs mid week?
