  • Hypno if you have THAT much could you not ring a houseclerance place that will take it away free and you won't have to pay for a skip.

Or you could put full boxes on freecycle as carboot lots for people who seem to love carbooting (I hate it by the way, find it far too traumatic).

    Hope the workshop goes ok.

Good idea re houseclearance, but I still need to sort it first - and REALLY the stuff that will be going is only suitable for throwing - I did several loads for the charity shops a few weeks ago, and have obviously done a load of ebaying and amazon stuff throughout my MSE journey already, plus I braved some car boots already with Pania, so I HAVE done a lot the "proper" way.

  • Just goes to show how little i have been in here, i missed your new diary..doh!

I think you should do what is best for you, as you are very busy and really have little time at weekends and are maximising profitable things..car boots can be an absolute pain in the rear end.

The only thing i was shocked at ..breadmaker on freecycle??? All the old stylers will be quaking in their boots or quivering if they live in your area:rotfl: ISOM swears by hand made bread anyway..;)

Other little note..if this is you taking it easy, gawd help the rest of us. You really are an energy bundle:beer: :rotfl:

Oh hypno! Sweetheart! Nobody woud dream of jumping on you. I only prattled about the open weekend cos I couldn't imagine you finding the time for the negotiations that are entailed in individual giveaways on freecycle. I'm really with Bob:
I think you should do what is best for you,

And yes, you have so few weekends - well, you have the odd afternoon, I don't ever recall you having a whole weekend.

I also agree with Bob on this!

The breadmaker hasn't been used for 18 months or so - nice idea in theory, but the practical chaotic side of my life doesn't allow it to fit in, so it might as well go to someone who can use it.

I think the whole point of this exercise is not to have what I *should* have, or what I *might* use, but to stick to what I *need* and what I *will* use.

As for the "make money out of it" side of things - for example today is the last day of my annual leave. I could have used it to list things on ebay, or find a mid week car boot, or I could work 4 hours for a workshop at a guaranteed £20 an hour............

I am still doing the CDs on i-tunes.......getting there!!!

Yes, I could get up at 5 instead of 6 to do this............

I do agree that home made bread, whether hand made or in a breadmaker is much nicer/smells fab etc when compared to shop bought but I am not that domestic goddess......

    Morning Hypno.

I am right with you with the garage sale I just couldn't ever do it. For numerous reasons that I won't post here lol

I bet your work is crazy today so maybe I good day to be off for your stress levels. I don't even pretend to understand it all but I know its a bad thing when my parents start muttering about their investments lol

Good luck with your Adult ed again today. £20 a day definately can't be sniffed off and will make a good overpayment to your loan.

I must feel so good over paying a loan.

Yep you've definately done your bit for the enviroment and the pocket so I agree wholeheartedly get rid the quickest easiest way possible and if that means paying for a skip then so be it. I hate clutter for the reason that I don't like tidying/cleaning very much so the less I have the less I have to tidy/clean and I know you dream and are desperate for a less chaotic home so BE BRUTAL and get binning :D You know you can do it, although I have visions of you physically trying to drag items out of the clutches of the families hands  :rotfl:
