I'm completely with you on the NO to garage sales, mainly because I couldn't stomach the embarassment of all the neighbours passing saying 'ooh, they must be tight for cash, let's give them a quid'. I can't stand throwing stuff away though, so although I hate it I do the occasional car boot (or try to, a-la-last sunday  )

The idea of giving the whole lot away as a single job lot rather than skipping it all would be my favoured option - I know if it was me, I'd end up not chucking some stuff in the skip because it would be too valuable/sentimental/potentially useful to someone, whereas if I knew that someone was at least going to use it I wouldn't mind as much giving it away for nowt. Although the idea of a giant clutter skip does definitely have some appeal - how liberating!

Its still dark in the mornings when I get up now - bah!

Most of the CDs are now loaded - I will do more tonight when I get home. I have a mystery shop to do after work but other than that nothing expected in the coffers.

    Have a good day everyone!

I've lost count of the number of those I haven't 'won' on Freecycle!

Well done on finding so many decent mystery shops. All the ones around me are a bag of brown stuff at the moment. Might look into finding some new shopping agencies today. Have a nice day!

I find MS assignments come in waves, perhaps it's just me, but sometimes I sit at the computer struggling to fill in those reports (or play freecell :o ) for AGES. And then other times I whizz through them. Then there is the supply of them, sometimes there's a glut, and I've known other times when I've done 1 in a month :rotfl:

But on Sunday I MS'd an electrical store (I now SO WANT a flat screen TV :o ) and there was a pricing error on the item I did buy. Instead of £49.99 it was displayed as £31.99 (they'd put the wrong printer cartridges on that shelf) At the till, because they'd made that error they sold them to me at £31.99 :j and I got £10 back :j :j And because something actually happened I had something to write on my report and it didn't take nearly as long as usual :rotfl:

    But I don't get coffee shops ;)
