Morning - what a shame about the Nativity play Shaun - we would certainly let a parent come to the rehearsal if they couldn;t come to the real thing. Have a good day shopping

Glad you had a great MSE evening Hypno and hope the grading goes well for DS today.

Am off to work in a minute, luckily the car is in the garage so won;t need de-icing!!!

    Have a good day everyone

Ooh, Surfbabe and me are on before Hypno! I bet she's gone out already .... ah well. Glad you had such a lovely evening Hypno, it sounds really good.

Shaun, I like the sound of the whole cultchie shopping day, I'm a sucker for old traditions like that. But I've just remembered ... 8th December ... John Lennon .... oh.

Okay, can't leave a post on Hypno's diary on a downer ... I'm off to London - a mystery shop in Islington, no less, will pay for part of my train ticket while I'm notching up some free CPD - hope to be looking at shops up there too, not sure about buying in Islington, still some *very* expensive stuff there. It'll be fun looking, anyway. Have a good day all. xx

Indeed, KC, you are up before me - I am tired this morning! And that is without drinking!!

Shaun, I am sure you would be able to see the rehearsal. I hope Christmas shopping is successful for you - I am yet to investigate what I need to buy.....

Today is grading - it will be touch and go whether he passes - I am not over confident about it even if he is! I hope I don't come home with a dejected 13 year old, but I am prepared........

Then I have a mystery shop to do - still have to input the other 3 too   and then off out for dinner for one of my best friend's birthdays - out two nights in a row.....can I cope with.....shock.....horror.......a SOCIAL LIFE  :rotfl:

It won't be MSE because we will each be paying for ourselves, but it is a new restaurant that has opened locally so always nice to be one of the first customers.

Have a good day everyone - off to do my scratchcards now :D

    Don't forget a qype review then :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I've got a couple of new places to do on Qype, so I will add them to my weekend list!

Won £1 on the scratchcard, so that was worth doing :D

Glad you had a good (and free!) evening! Hope today goes well - loads of positive vibes for DS!

Talk later. BTW - where do you do the scratch cards?
  • :j Hello I'm back!:j

It's been a busy few days for me. Mainly of the drinking alcohol variety but meeting up with friends who I haven't seen in a while and generally getting down about Christmas... This one is different as it's my OH's first Christmas with the Walshy clan!

He knows we're crazy but what he doesn't know is that Christmas doubles, possibly even triples it

Feeling a bit delicate this morning as I decided to go out in Canary wharf after work... Bad mistake...:rotfl:

So yes I'm around and catching up, well done on the new job youareallhelpingme! What job is it that you got?

Hypno, I've been reading about these scratchcards... any chance you could link me to it as I need to get my gluteous maximus (emphasis on the maximus atm! :o ) into gear and make serious inroads into this £20k I've set myself and I can only do so much slice thepie before going mad!
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!
  • Oh yes and thanks to my complaining to the Financial ombudsman about Nationwide...

My credot score got fixed and I've got a 0% credit card with Sainsbury for the final balance transfer!

That and all my purchases now give me nectar points! This is a good thing as I will be paying off the balance in full every month once I just shift the £1200 off of it... Should be around April if I keep my act together...
