Gemmz, I remember my dad used to put the oven on instead of the heating......and I admit I will leave the oven door open after cooking to let the heat go into the room!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Evening all - Hypno you sound as if you have had a super day although its been busy. DD and I have been to visit Canterbury - Univeristy of Kent so a lot of dashing around as we were both teaching from 8 - 10.30 this morning before driving the 100 miles to get there in time for the talk she wanted to hear !!!! Well worth it though and it is on the short list !!! Followed that by going to Whitstable to meet a friend who is over from canada for a year, had a quick dinner with them and arrived home here at 8.30pm after driving in pouring fine rain and high winds !!!! :j
Am not doing anything tomorrow! Oh yes and as DH is away the heating is on ! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Well everyone has had a good Saturday/better than some!
I'll be ok... I was very good with money so I've a bit of a cushion. The fact that this happened for the 4th time this YEAR ( ) means I'm much calmer! Bring on the next job being a permanent job! Not a temp-perm, not a temp job...
One can but pray!!!
What were the teams you saw? I must get on to the mystery shops now! Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
You're all softies - I haven't even been tempted to put the heating on yet!
But I did buy DS a pair of Winceyette pyjamas today, in an attempt to keep him warm in bed so he doesn't come and get into ours in the middle of the night.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
I've said mine's not on until the 1st November! And it's getting cold but I'm staying strong!
I don't know whether this is the first post of the day or the last post of the night at this time! We shall see! Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
