Walshyboy, I have googled the diet......bizarre! Although I have been on detox diets in the past which are even more restrictive.....and once I did the grapefruit diet - no imagination needed there. The thing is I don't even like grapefruit! Never have, never will!

I have been for a run, 3.65 miles while the children did karate.......surprisingly after my aches yesterday and this morning, it was quite comfortable!

Come on everyone doing qype reviews - you are all doing really well :T It will be worth it in the end :D

Try googling the NHS quick weight loss diet they put on obese people before they have surgery... It just makes you want to throw up!

I'm done with diets, I'm slowly but surely switching to a more MSE and therefore healthier lifestyle, somehow I only spend £60 a week on food every fortnight, which is saving me a FORTUNE!!! :T

I must be one of the lucky ones who can go into a shop and not manage to spend 50 quid on a cake or something...

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

Now, I like, nay love, cake.......but even pre MSE days I would NEVER have spent £50 on one! I don't think even my wedding cake cost that much!

Thank your lucky stars you do not live near Sydenham... the fact I work near here now and get paid on Friday is VERY dangerous...:rotfl:

I love going into the patisseries in France - when you are skiing, you have the excuse of needing the extra calories to fuel the exercise you do.....

    ...don't you

Urgh, I hate iced cakes! But you've given me an idea for another review - Konditor and Cook. Have you been to their fabulous shops? There must be one in Docklands.

I'd like to go to the Docklands museum, I'd never even heard of it before so that was a genuine thank you!

  • Well I didn't get much done today after all must do better tomorrow. I have booked 3 more mystery shop jobs though and done the necessary training for one.

I couldn't see the cake link walshyboy probably just as well as I have just finished a magnum. ;) What are the pick and mix strawberry bags? I definitely need to go on a serious diet even my doctor says so which means I am avoiding her now doesn't help that she is a personal friend and I know she is genuinely concerned. I like fruit so I might look at the diet. It isn't really what I eat (nice healthy porridge and fruit to start the day) except for the occasional magnum but my exercise level is zero. I did try advert break exercise (whilst the adverts were on I would walk fast round the house until I could see the programme was back on) it's amazing how long the breaks are and how my steps increased but I have abandoned TV for the laptop and it doesn't work quite the same. I really really must tackle this no good being debt free if my health goes, especially having young children.
