Mudbath sounds like Poppy is doing you good, aswell as the good she has having a new home.

Been to swimming, then the boys teas, now it's 10pm, I've been in about an hour, and I fell totally exhausted. I've not managed to do much studying but think it's a bad idea when tired, will get myself off to bed in a mo, need to get the pack ups done first. Think DSs being up from around 4am hasn't helped that.

Pack ups, school bags, pain killers, bed.........................sounds like a plan
One day I might be more organised...........

Boddy - now you ARE challenging me. It was in the Sunday Express over the summer (I can remember it was on a Flylady to do list that I posted...it's called a Standby Saver...
    ***wanders off to google it***
    http://www.standby-saver.co.uk/

Mine doesn't have a usb connector but into it is plugged Sky box (freeview really as I cancelled the Sky when I chucked OH out) Video, DVD, TV and Wii (surprise xmas gift to DD and DS from Aunt and Uncle last xmas)

Whether they are still available for free I cannot say...

I have to admit I didn't know about the free standby savers (I assume it was a token thingy), but BG do now have an energy saving gadgets site:

    http://www.britishgasproducts.co.uk/

as usual, it's worth shopping around if you find something you're interested in.

The shipping costs don't come up until you go to the checkout, so I'll try to remember to dig out the email with the shipping costs on it tomorrow if that would help.

Pigpen - the point about the fires/boilers is well timed! Everyone is starting to put their heating on at the moment, so demand on engineers goes up and waiting times increase  . Even if you are planning on keeping it switched off for a few more weeks, make sure you turn it on for a few hours to check that it is working OK, and while you're at it, check the radiators for cold at the top (need bleeding) or cold at the bottom (sludge, needs draining, cleaning and anti-corrosive adding - or a powerflush if you have the cash!).

Don't think I'll be able to make 26th as OH should be back then but I'll test the water next time he calls

I think you'll find you need to buy a new bag. I know that I will... and possibly a new coat as well. Can we have shoes next week please. They're my FAVOURITE!!!

    Thanks Pigpen :T :T
