Toots the only thing i can suggest is to make sure the seal at the top is closed properly. If it is then they may be faulty. Which ones have you got? Mine are the JML ones.0

Toots - if your duvet re-inflates air is getting back in somehow. Are you closing the vacuum seal properly? There MUST be hole somewhere if you are!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Hi toots - we are hoping to move around the end of this month as the tenants who are in there at the moment (OH is the landlord) will move out on the 17th. At the moment we live in a 2 bedroom flat, although we use the second bedroom as the living room as it has no heating, and the room that is meant to be the living room is currently our study/OH's junk room.
We will be moving into a 3 bedroom house which is a semi-detached, but it shares a wall with my MIL, so it'll be interesting. I'm looking forward to having a bit more space, and I'm hoping that OH doesn't bring quite so much junk with him to the new place. We want to get a lodger in the second bedroom to make up for the difference in rent when we rent out our flat - again, this is going to take some getting used to. However, we will be in a road that is mainly private housing, so this will help with insurance premiums etc, and we will also have our own garden where I'm keen to start growing vegetables etc. Also it's further back from the main road, so hopefully that means that Ebony will keep out of trouble, as he's been run over twice! Having our own driveway will also be a bonus cos at the moment parking by the flat is a nightmare, especially as we have a very inconsiderate neighbour who has her caravan parked there.

Oooh sexy you are a brave and lovely person for living next door to your MIL - I am sure she is ok and you get on fine with her - I just hope she leaves you to your own devices when you are next door and isnt popping in to check on her 'wee boy' IYSWIM. It will be nice to have the extra space and neighbours that you know and especially the garden - you will love that.
I suspect Oh wont be any better - or maybe even worse at cluttering thins up!!!! - the more space they have the more they feel they have to put in it!!!!
good luck with the packing and moving - I love doing that!1
