    Afternoon everyone,

Just caught up with the thread whilst eating a jacket potato for lunch (the good thing about working only the morning today). Am feeling less bunged up now, but have been using my voice a lot this morning, so have a bit of a sore throat now - plus I burnt my tongue cos I was starving and couldn't wait for my jacket potato to cool down a bit. Will have to go and find me a nice cold pineapple juice from the fridge in a minute (good for sore throats and burnt tongues).

Thanks to everyone for the get well wishes.

Greenbee you were right about me doing breaststroke - I think I probably was holding my hands incorrectly, as I was trying to swim as fast as possible cos there were 2 men swimming quickly behind me, and only one lane of the pool was open due to kids swimming lessons. Luckily my wrists don't hurt quite so much today, and I'm hoping that the steam room will have been fixed by today so that I can go in there afterwards to help my cold.

I had a nice morning of supply today - Year 4 up to break time (maths - shapes) and then Year 5 up to lunch (PSHE - circle time - telling stories about times when we've been scared or nervous, and how we got through it).

I'll be in the other Year 5 class tomorrow morning up to break (English) then up to lunch will be Year 6. I realised today that in the last 2 weeks, I've taught every class in the school, apart from one Year 3 class and one Year 4 class, which is nice, as all of the children know who I am now, and say hello to me in the corridors. So far, I don't have any supply booked in for next week, but hoping that I will get a call this avo. I know that the school I've been in for the last 2 weeks have an inset day on Monday, so they won't need me then.

Hugs to poohbear - that's sad news about your friend. Good news about your mortgage though.

Hope everyone else who is poorly feels better soon.

Just remembered that I have to get small black ball some food at the farm shop, so will have to pop out in a minute. It's all clouded over here now and was brilliant sunshine when I got home - I was hoping to do some of the washing, so I hope it doesn't rain.

Have called OH at work to ring someone on freecycle about some cardboard boxes for when we move, and with any luck if they haven't gone, he can pick them up on the way home - I hadn't realised how close it was getting to when we move and now I'm a bit panicky. I'm going to miss my neighbours in my block, although I'm only around the corner if I want to visit them, or viceversa.

Well - off to get that drink then get Ebony his food.

Will be up for a HHC when I get back if anyone is interested.

    sexymouse xx
