Thanks Lil_me!! I'll make sure I pass it on.

Off to find some food (sweetcorn & tomato soup) and read very boring work paperwork that I need to send comments back on tonight... I'm sure I'll be back later

Valli please don't laugh...how do I iron a fitted sheet?

Not laughing at all hun! Perfectly reasonable to ask an expert

I fold them into quarters and iron from the middle out and then do the bit that goes over the side out from each corner...See Greenbee - great minds think alike!
hated them and when they worn out got rid!
    Dead tidy list that BTW!

Lil_me towel - that was gross... makes me shudder what some people do... mind you I am funny about towels (ducks and laughs as can hear Flyladies the length and breadth of the country say 'no really - Valli funny about towels and laundry') and we all have our own here. When the kiddiwinks got impetigo I didn't catch it ...and when I got it on my face under my nose they didn't get it.

Greenbee thanks for the link - dead professional. Mind you I am funny about payslips (all filed...date order) and I think I'd get twitchy if I didn't have them... I registered school on that thing you PMd me about BTW - thanks for that as I too try very hard to be green.

AnWs mum have spoken to Councillor and it looks like the lorry is too small (under 7 and a half tonnes) and not in contravention of laws but he has suggested I call the firm and tell them it's causing a problem ... I have to be all polite and calm ... I can do polite and calm - but it will have to wait until Thursday when I will have time.

    Hi all

I've done hardly any flying this weekend:o , i have however climbed up a really massive hill:eek: and i did it without moaning:rolleyes: . It was really steep in places too i usually moan like hell when OH suggests a walk.

I also got rather drunk on Friday night at a friends party and ended up being sick and passing out.:o :o:o I hardly ever drink as i'm such a lightweight, but me and OH had had a row earlier and were barely speaking so i thought i'd get drunk. I drank a bottle of wine really quickly then realised what i'd done and tried to stop it. I had 3 cups of coffee and a pint and a half of water but it was too late. I feel so ashamed:o :o:o

    Anyway i'm in

  • Hi all, I'm in again this week please - can't believe it's only 9pm and already 3+ pages of the new thread!

Didn't fly much in the house today but have:
finished the pavlova for church bring and share lunch
    gone to church!
gardened and cut the lawn - looks much better now - saved morning glory seed for next year - waiting for purple sweet peas to ripen, picked tomatoes
made bramble jelly from berries picked yesterday - ours were good I know some folk were complaining recently about how small and tart they were
put roast in and did veg; made pineapple pud; made choc and cherry loaf for packups; sat down with a cuppa!!lol!!
Sorted clothes for the morning; will do packups in a while.
Well that's all for tonight - have a good day tomorrow - will catch up with some of the posts tomorrow evening :T

oops forgot to say our macaws for the week are: DD to open curtains and switch off night light when she gets up; DS open curtains and make bed in the mornings; me: take off my make up before bed every day - bit naugthy some nights when I'm cream crackered!
Kids are loving the challenge especially DD who is only 7! And since I changed mine las to Monday to putting down the loo lid, I've not lost anything else down the pan!! Twice in a week was just too much - my make up is just on the sill behind and I cna't afford to keep replacing it!! LOL!!
