did the school run this morning and on the way home, drve past the post office and realised the car tax stuff was still on the kitchen worktop, waiting! so had to come home and go out again.
got mmy adobe reader to work, for some reason it was disabled, so i enabled it and then it kept asking if i wanted add ons to run and every thing was really slow so have disabled it again, will enable it if there is anything worth looking at.

any way enough rambling,(an excuse for not getting off rear end and doing something) got second load in WM, i am waiting till 10.30 to do HHI, i need the telly so will wait for "this morning" (an excuse to stay here for another 20 mins!!

I'm lurking toochoosey -- on the pretence of doing the monthly accounts.

I've done the main bedroom, and the linen is in the wash. I've also done another two lots of washing, as DD picked up everything from her floor - put it in the wash...sigh.

I have also made a huge saucepan of ratatouille, as I had home grown courgettes and also aubergines to cook. The very first time I have grown aubergines, and I'm ridiculously proud of them, they are the small egg shaped ones, cream with purple stripes, far too pretty to cook really.

    Okay, back to the accounts.

Hugs to Natty. Just noticed you're in Kent too - South, East, North or West?

    Hello everyone

Im sorry I wasn't around yesterday-rather sore so gave myself a nice big dose of diclofenac and just slept mostly. I managed to do my list in the morning though so everything was tidy. DS was very good about it, DF was home in the afternoon so he spent time doing as daddy did:)

I also had bunny chow started so just put a loaf in the BM and let DF assemble it later. Yum!

Tooti glad your loaf was good-we decided that we are sticking to Hovis yeast, tried a name brand and the loaf was much smaller than usual.
Lil_me obviously I missed a big post somewhere, but it sounds like you need hugs....so have a few from me.
Natty I've seen loads of "received" posts for fridges on our local freecycle-and my friend who went back to S.A put her 6 month old one on. It went the same day, worth a try. Search your yahoo groups too. We have one in our borough which is buy and sell but with a maximum price, nothing goes for more than £50.
And my candles are lit for you hun, my DF proposed to me on my late mums birthday to try to help with the same. Its the hardest thing to remember. (I hope you don't mind me saying that, I know words sound so empty in times like these)
Greenbee thanks for the meter reading reminder...it (and its folder) have been on my list for AAAAGGGEEES. See Denise IM guilty too.

I'm going to get a coffee and check on my hob and then I'll be back to do lists. I managed to lift something off the hob and the whole thing lifted up. I discovered it's been "Glued" to the counter with grease:eek: I cleaned out one ring last night and had to use 5 sheets of Bounty:eek: So needless to say I have scrubbed some stardrops into it and have been brushing away at it every now and then. I'll bet it needs to lie for most of today its that gross:mad:
