We've also been told that the credit card has declined, I've contacted the credit card company- they have confirmed that the card is fine, that there is credit and that lxdirect haven't even attempted to take a payment.

Its clear that there is a shortage of stock, does anyone know how legally we stand with this to pursue the matter (we haven't yet received a confirmation of the transaction - order placed on Tuesday)

I ordered mine on Monday but got a letter from Littlewoods this morning to say my credit card company had rejected my payment.

When I rang them I had given the wrong expiry date year, said 09, instead of 08.

The lady told me that the doll was out of stock and they were unlikely to get anymore in stock as it was from the old catalogue.

If anyone does find that they are back in stock please post it on here as I am gutted I made a mistake.

Husband sais that the children have enough toys already, let alone another annoying doll! I think he is pelased that I made a mistake!

I ordered mine on Tuesday morning. Didn't get a confirmation email either. Rang them up today to see when delivery was going to be and surprise, surprise my debit card was declined. Must have been a wrong digit I entered. (I don't think so) Out of stock now so won't be getting it. Won't be dealing with this shoddy company again. Fair enough if they ran out of stock but they didn't even call to let me know and to make me think it was my fault I lost out. This has happened to too many others for it to have been my mistake.

Mine was delivered today as well, delivery men left it in the dustbin! Good job they left me a note to say where it was!!!

Im not getting my doll either. Received a letter this morning saying seeing as Im behind in my payments they wont send any orders until I start paying. I was fuming and phoned them straight up as i always pay more then my minimum payment and the last payment i made was last friday and this wasnt due until december 12th.
Lady on the phone did apologise and said i could re-order there and then but she wanted the catalogue number for the doll which i didnt have on me at the time. told her id would order later online but looks like ive missed out on this now thanks to their mistake :mad:
