I ordered it today at about 4:30pm. Had a confirmation e-mail sent a few hours later showing total cost of £7.49, delivery due on Thursday.

try looking into the junk email folder or your antispam folder - i also ordered one today and the confirmation email went into my bulk folder on btyahoo

I ordred mine monday and I havent received a confirmation email either. I remember delivery day was for wednesday 30th november so I will see if it turns up. When i track my order its showing up as £20.99 too but from previous orders Ive made I remember it not showing the discounts when you track your order. plus when the item arrives the invoice enclosed never shows the discounts. They only show on the payment slip that you receive to make payment with a couple of weeks later.

My mother in law ordered one yesterday and its also showing up as £20.99 but hopefully it should work out. I'm sure i read somehere on the LXDirect website that they charge £3.50 for returns!!!!

I ordered mine yesterday, no confirmation e mail, I just rang them and after being put on hold for quite a while was told that credit checks were just being done on the card I had used and it can take a few days !! I'm not convinced it's never taken a few days for any other credit card payment I've made, just a few minutes, I wonder if they are having problems.

I received my confirmation email today (ordered yesterday) and it states final amount as £7.49.
When checking the order tracking on their website it says total value £20.99

I phoned them out and they have stated...for new customers they intially charge the full amount to credit/debit cards/new accounts opened with them. then 14 days later, after the home trial period is up and item not returned, they refund you credit card etc with the voucher amount (in this case £13.50) It's to stop people scamming them for money...ie use voucher then return item, and have full price reimbursed to their card.

Not very clear at all from the sales slips etc about this, not very impressed with LXDirect BUT it's still a great bargain....just takes 14days to feel it
