saying new hardware detacted don't know what it is as only just got laptop and won't gave a performance score. think i need technical support

To be honest you really need the technical support of your laptop manufacturer or supplier if anyone. Or just give a bit more detail (laptop make/model etc and what error messages it gives here to see if anyone can help, it's what this forum board is meant to be for after all.

on the performance score page it says new hardware detacted and to refresh, this takes ages then says theres too much interferance and says windows evperiance needs to be update. how do i do this

doesn't really tackle the new hardware issue, unusual on a new lappy, manufacturers usually get the drivers installed. try a reboot

It means just shutdown and switch on again or "restart".

I very much doubt much will be gained from that (not to mention the money wasted on calling it). They'll just defer to the laptop manufacturer since it sounds like a hardware installation issue.

The helpline was asked for therefore the helpline was given
