    I use corks as "crocks" in the bottom of plant pots- good for drainage. Also when used in very large pots is a light alternative to real crock if they have to be moved about.

    What about sticking some magnets in them and using them on the fridge to hold things.

  • Speaking as a trainee teacher, schools and nurseries are often happy to take things like left over corks off your hands! We use them for craft, junk modelling and in water trays for floating/sinking lessons!

    I used to work in a restaurant and they used them in a barrel for a large umbrella stand, looked pretty good!! Did see some people nicking some of them once, never understood why!!!
