hi, please help,
for the last 2-3 days my internet is painfully slow, ok yes i am still on dial up but it is never this slow, even in peak times. I counted how long it took to load this page and it took 39 seconds, it normally takes about 10 at the most. I am on tiscali and am using the accelerator as well.
So far to try and fix it is cleared my cookies and temp files, checked all my settings are correct and did a full scan of my computor with panda platinum protection, it didpick up spyware but disinfected it all. Is there any other help out there, i tried the ccleaner that mr. s reccomends but its still no good.

A Browntoa said, run ms antispyware and possibly adaware.. I would think it will sort your problems out.. :jIf you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.0

you said that spyware got picked up on the other scan, you can only really be sure it's gone by running in safe mode....and I run 4 different bits of Spyware software at various times to keep clean (they sometimes pick up different thing)....Spyware can slow down your Pc by eating up processor speed
if you hit ctrl alt del the performance Tab will tell you how much processer (CPU) is in use...mine says 3%Ex forum ambassador

Have you installed any software lately?
The reason why I ask is that some Antivirus and Antispyware tools
scan webpages before you go them this is especially trus with Avast
on guard protection web scanner, it will check the whole page then let you view it.0 -
no not installed any software at all, it seems to have perked up a tiny bit but still nowhere as good as normal.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

It may be due to bad weather conditions as this can have an adverse affect.0

Mine's been really slow to load these forum pages for a few days now but fine on everything else I browse on...I think it's to do with their new servers.0
