Thinking of leaving Virgin and going to Sky (for BB and Telephone)

Hi,
We are currently using Virgin for our broadband and telephone package, and have an 8MB broadband and free evening and weekend calls for £15/month.
However, my OH now works from home during the day and our last bill included a lot of short calls making the bill total £38 for the month.
We currently have Sky telly and were considering moving to their £10/month 8MB unlimited download package and using the £5/month BT package which gives free local and national calls all day every day.
From their website virgin can offer a £19/month deal for the same BB with unlimited calls.
We've also looked at the alternatives for the telly but BT seem a bit rubbish for what we want and Virgin is a bit limited.
Are there any other good deals out there that we've missed? I know that Virgin may reduce our monthly charge if we ring up to cancel but obviously I'd like to be aware of what I can get elsewhere to give me bargaining power, should I need it.
Thanks!
JWF
PS we are in an area without cable

So if your not in a Cable Area your a Virgin Media (Non Cable Customer) and you still paying BT for your landline. Is that correct ?
I presume that you have checked to see if you can get Sky Broadband Max on your exchange. If you add Sky Talk 24/7 inclusive UK geographical call package £5 a month, their wave the £25 connection fee,and your also get inclusive intl calls to certain destinations which may be of use to you.

Yes we're still paying line rental to BT. Thanks for the link, I'll take a look and do the sums
