There is a cheap coat on Debenhamds website
http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10001_72133_620395_-1
I bought these in size 5-6 and 7-8. It says that it is a girls coat but the fastenings are on the opposite side to be a girls. And I've had it delivered and the swing tag is blue. Does it make a difference do you reckon?
Anyway, don't forget Quidco and on the quidco page there is a 10% additional discount code .
Debenhams overcharged me so beware of this, the packing note states a difference price to that of the website and the confirmation and they took the higher amount from my card. Just to make you aware really. But a good buy considering what I have seen coats for on the high street!!

LOL, see. I am not sure either. I think boys but it is sold as girls.
Luckily I am not fussed either way as I have a 5 year old girl and 4 year old boy - it'll get worn by whoever it is for and for £12 each (with the postage) it was not a bad price so I decided to buy them. They are nice quality coats though, I'll put it away if it is more for boys than girls. But really needed a girls coat and they seem to cost a fortune and everything seems to have 'shiny puffa' look this year and I do not like them.
It is confusing. The fur trim looks like it would be for a girl but it fastens to the left and all the other girls coats fasten to the right.0 -
It looks like boys to me.0

This would be the girls one.

Its a girls coat...if you have a look at the bit at the top which reads....
You are here:home>>kids>>younger girls>>coats & jackets>>black fur trim parka coat
it says 'younger girls'0 -
It may say younger girls but it is not a girls jacket. The fastening is left over right which means it is a boys jacket. Just looking at the cut and style looks more like a boys jacket too. Having said that, I think it is ok to dress a girl in a boys jacket more so than the other way around. lol0
