Oh and i have been paying promptly, what ever they asked on the 25th of every month form 25/04/06 until 25/09/08, accomodating 2 large increases.

29 months no thank you, i just dont think doing DD is worth it as the potential loss is worth a lot more than they would give me

I received the Loyalty Discount in my bank account in July but have since decided to move to Scottish Power to get a capped rate. My September final account shows "Atlantic Loyalty Discount - £54" and "Refund direct to bank account +£54", with "Account Adjustments £0.00".
The above two amounts cancel each other and my account charges and payments have no sign of the discount provision. As I read it the Loyalty Discount has been taken back but Customer Services insist that "while it is rather confusing" the discount has been allowed.
    Any thoughts?

I rang AEG about this the other day. Our rebate had been paid into our bank account.
The adjustments on our latest bill made it look as if it has been taken back but in our case the adjustment also appeared on a previous bill meaning that it hadn't been taken back from us. No idea why adjustment couldn't appear on one bill instead of two. It took ages and lots of calculations before I was convinced that we had received a rebate.
