Madasafish - changing internet provider - help!

Hi there!
I am currently with madasafish - my contact is due to finish on 19th October and I want to change to O2 as it is so much cheaper. However, I can't ring up and cancel (apparently) until then and then I will have to give 28 days notice, so this turns into a 13th month contract rather than 12. grrrr.
Is there any way around this?
