Reversed Paypal payment after item posted

This has happend to me too, only I have been waiting 3 weeks for my money to be returned! The buyer has my item and I am £60 down.

I have contacted Paypal but I get a different story each time. This time they say its because the buyer had a negative balance. How can that work? The money was received, they then ask for proof of purchase and then take the money away! I thought the whole point was to offer protection, it's their error!

Ive just had an email back from paypal, saying theyve passed in to their 'Resolution Center Specialists' for further review....

Ive also just checked on royal mail and there is STILL no tracking info.....would i be able to claim from royal mail if it ends up that the buyer gets a refund? When i went to the post office, they said that they stopped issuing the orange recorded delivery slips, just scanned the info in, and the address of the person it was sent to and the recorded delivery tracking number was just on the receipt.

EDIT: Cos my crappy laptop sent the message when i was halfway through typing....think i need to buy a new one.....but obviously not funded through ebay!!! lol!!!!

I received a package the other week. Wouldn't fit through the letterbox so the postie rang and handed it to me. When I got inside I turned it over and there on the address side was a rec del label. He must have deliberately handed it to me face down to save himself a few seconds. It is still not showing as delivered. Now if I had been dishonest .........

i posted my 1st ebay item in ages recored deliv and asked for the orange slip, they said that they give all the details now on the receipt . though i do prefer to have the slip, it feels a beta back up olnly had to do 1 so far though
