T-mobile address for unlocking code

I was hoping someone would be able to help me. Ages ago I saw a thread about getting phones unlocked and someone had written a postal mail address for T-mobile for getting a code for free. Does anyone know what the address is?? I've searched and searched without success.

I'd doubt if there is a way to get the unlock code from T-mobile for Free. I've obtained my code for a charge of £15 from them after I was more than 6m in my contract.

I'm probably telling you what you already know, but depending on the make and model it is often possible to get unlocking code from some websites. Martin has a thread on that on one of the mobile and telephone boards.

You have to send IMEI handset make and model, alternative contact number, name address, e-mail address. It can take up to 6 weeks for it to be sent out. You can request it in writting to them if you don't have an account with them. If you do, you need to call them up and it will cost £15.

it didnt work wen i first put this code in but i must have made a misstake as i tried agen+it wrkd!the mobile was on t-mobile+now im on vodafone wiv it-i didnt think that writing to that address was goin2result in a gd response so i went out and actually brought a fone which now i wish i cud tk bk but i dont think i can anways im guna try+sell it, but 4all u ppl out there that r thinkin of buyin a fone jus cos u cant get it unlocked4cheaper then the price of a new cheap mob-u can!
