Yeah its not updated straight away always. Ive read of that a lot on here."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

FYP, I agree on what you have said. I banked with Barclays for over 15 years, and to be fair they were fine with me, until the debts got to the state of not being paid, loans, cc etc. Having said that though they were never nasty to me even on the phone. And when I went into the IVA they were okay when I sent them letters to contact the IVA people.
Nat West, well I have had the step account for over 3 years, never gone o/d other than for 60 odd pence which they never charged or wrote to me about, which for any bank these days is pretty unreal! If NW were to allow me to keep the Step account I will and use it to put money in for things that come up once a year or every 6 months, like car tax and MOT, clothes, if they dont well so be it.
At the end of the day the co op have said yes, which means my wages and DDs can be dealt with which is the main thing for me right now. I do not buy much online, in fact it is a very rare occurance so the electron card is fine by me.
I guess it comes down to making sure the account is run one hundred percent properly, and I have learnt to live without CCs and overdrafts and loans due to the IVA so that part should not be too hard for me. It is a shame when you have banked so long with a bank and then they treat you like rubbish, and yet others just seem to get away with it.
Bit like people in rent arrears, some get away with months and months and others only have to miss one week to get a snotty letter.
Like others and you FYP I am just pleased to have been accepted as it is another worry off my plate right now. Each day another hurdle is gotten over, well most days I hope! will post in my other thread later on as well, as I did get something else done today.
