I've entered this one before - not today - so was surprised to see it up again. Like you I couldn't get any answer accepted. Because I'd seen it before I didn't worry about it and ended up going off the page, and now I'm back to it the quiz tells me I've entered it. So yes - strange things are afoot on that bit - perhaps it is something to do with changes being made to that page around now.

Have you tried leaving it on 'Please Select...' and then submitted? I don't know the exact competition but before some have worked that way!

This does happen quite frequently. If you just click on submit without selecting an answer you'll get the points.
