Firmware Upgrade - Nokia 9500

I have Nokia 9500 and I would like to upgrade its firmware to the latest available.

I contacted Carphone Warehouse, they are charging £30 for it.

Does any one know any cheaper shops???

if it's under a year old ,then as Nokia Service centres for the UK Carphone warehouse would fix it for free (and reflash the software) if it had say a problem where it shuts itself down sometime when it is sending texts and you wanted it repaired

It is less than a year old but they are asking for proof of purchase, I have only paypal invoice (ebay), will they accept ??

what does it say when you type *#0000# into the phone ??

I thought that the Nokia service centres simply scanned the barcode on the phone and that told them everything they needed to know about date of purchase, etc...
