I don't usually like to moan but I'm getting seriously annoyed with it. The activity time out seems to be somewhere around 10 minutes before I'm logged out. I do otherwise like these forums and this means I'm constantly having to type my username and password.
Sometimes I'll even sit and read a thread and by the time I click on the link for the next page I'm logged out. Because the posts per thread setting for logged out users is different to my own setting this means the next page them becomes posts I've already read.
Can the auto-logout time please be set to a sensible time? I think 6 hours would be reasonable. 10 minutes is just silly.

Hello Pound
Do you click for a tick in the 'Remember Me' box?;)
When I log in as Nile and enter my password, I always click on the box to the right of the 'Log in' box in the 'Remember Me' box.............and I don't get logged out until I decide to log off.;)10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. I'll try it but I'm sure I've tried that in the past and it didn't make any difference. Saying that I did it a while ago and I haven't been logged out yet.0

it definitely logs you out fast if you don't tick the remember me button
Make sure you tick it and see how you go

Glad your problem was solved. I can't remember being logged off MSE, but it does happen occassionly to me on another site I visit regurlarly.
