Tiscali: what are the pros and cons?

I was a homechoice (very small london based provider who supplied TV on demand, Broadband and Cheap calls) customer, an excellent service was provided until Tiscali bought them put.We were advised we perform a neccessary upgrade online which meant we would get extra TV channels,and a faster broadband. The reality of the situation was we had no extra channels and no broadband for 3 months.Numerous phone calls (on 0870 numbers) were made with no resolution including engineers that were booked to visit , the next call to tiscali I was advised that no engineer had ever been booked. WE needed a new box and then we didn't. We were 'personally gauranteed' that we would ber refunded the cost of any callswe made to the etc, plus 3 months free charges etc. None of this was forthcomingI finally lodged an OFCOM complaint as a result The staff in thier call centre are either liars or very very badly trained, the level of service they provide is simply shocking and I would not touch them with a barge pole, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.
