yup, I have heard of them (beyer) - my mate told me they were the industry standard - BUT, not to buy the DT-100 for hifi use as they were very 'flat', I got another pair from Beyer that were the same as the DT-100 but specifically for hifi... - superb....
Anyway - i get your point billbennet....
But, I think the useless arguing from above posters is a bit naff.. I hadn't heard of the tv make - and people do make assumptions.... but, get a grip guys I'm sure you are both great and are caught up in a heated debate about nothing in particular.... - mind you, it is fun to read!!!!0 -

One of the specs that support its expensive tag is that it is a 100hz TV, so a bit like HD in terms of quality.
I had a 100Hz Sony Wega 32" CRT and can honestly say it looked no different to the 50hz model at all. Nothing like the improvement from 720p or 1080p HD.0 -

Never had one, just saw in the shops and always looked good, but then again, they probably fed it from a special machine to look good, like they feed LCD's with PC feeds.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

100hz is a refresh rate, not a measure of picture quality.
Fast moving images are smoother on a 100hz tele, because the refresh rate is twice that of an average tele which is 50hz
most new flat panel HD teles are coming with 100hz.God made man, man made money, money made man mad0 -
