so we ordered it and have had NOTHING but problems since...
Here is my RANT on CSL's facebook page that seemed to have sparked a responseabsolutely RUBBISH customer service! everythings all dandy when your in the store but when the salesman gives the wrong dimension and then the sofa dont fit so a window has to come out, then the part the delivery men CAN get up stairs gets broken by them, they then take 3 weeks to sort a repair when the parts in stock....now the part that was in stock has been replaced with ANOTHER broken part!! and now the part is out of stock and wont be in for 2-3 weeks! customer service is absolutely shocking!!!
NEVER EVER BUY A SOFA FROM THIS COMPANY ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY YOUR STUFFED BECAUSE THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN!!0 -
I had the Misfortune to buy a sofa from CSL, less than 6 months later, it started falling apart and sagged so much that it could no longer be sat on.
CSL arranged "their expert" (employee), to look at it and claimed there was nothing wrong with it.
I finally got redress via The Small Claims Court, after a year.
CSL sofas DO NOT LAST, I have the court papers as proof.0 -

We bought from Multiyork and are very pleased with them. Have a look at their outlet shops, we bought one settee that was a cancelled order and one we had made. Both delivered on time by cheerful guys and they helped me put the old ones into the garage from 1st floor living room.0

 I recently bought a white leather 3 seater sofa from CSL and have had nothing but problems. Delivered 04.12.2012. First there were some marks on the sofa so I called CSL and it took 5 phone calls to get an appointment put in place to repair, repaired 22.12.2012
The sofa is in the conservatory so we hadnt used it so I used the protection kit provided before we actually sat on it, whilst using the wipes I noticed two small slits in the sofa as well as a scratch which had tried to be covered up but the covering had gone an yellow colour! The following night we sat on the sofa and the next morning purple stains were all on the right on side of the sofa, I'm assuming my son had lent against the DRY walls which are purple and it transferred onto the couch
Anyway I called CSL 02.01.2013 and arranged for someone to come out 04.01.2013
The technician said some faults were theres and that they would repair the paint as a gesture of good will! He spent an hour using air brush paints etc and said he'd finished however I noticed that the paint he used was lighter than my sofa and that you could still see the purple paints. His response was its should blend in in a few hours and if it doesnt ring sofa shield insurance. Also the technician assumed the sofa was cream when is should be white, so now questioning if they have sent the correct colour
It has been a few hours now and the paint has not blended, it looks patchy and you can still see the purple paint
Therefore I called CSL and said I am not happy and would like to return the sofa and they said I cant. I said that we have had it 4 weeks and we have had to have two call outs already. The technician has made it worse and if I can not sit on my sofa because clothes etc will transfer on it then its pointless having it. I purchased the cover incase of anything like this and they said its not covered as Dye transfer falls under wear and tear and not accidental damage
They said its the same as if you buy a white shirt and you spill red wine on it then you cant take it back to the shop. I advised that this is a sofa that has been barely sat therefore its not wear and tear and that surely there is a fault with the leather and she advised that you have to be careful what clothes you wear. I advised her that i was never told this by the sales assistant and he said your covered against 'everything', however this is not the case. I asked to speak to the manager and she advised she will nt say anything different but I will put you through, was on hold for 10 minutes for the same lady to say the manager wants to read the full report and will call you back Monday
I now have to wait til Monday for them to say No you cant return it, if that is the case where do I start with trading standings, court etc......Please help0 -
Any company who sells sofas with integrated MP3 player dock and speakers should be closed down. Who buys these things ?0
