  • i cant believe nobody commented that the mother slapped the boy in the face! i was shocked! And the language from the mother in the car etc and the fact she was happy to drive on with no belts on!!! utter madness!
  • I'm surprised Social Services aren't involved with the family given that there has been at least one incident of physical abuse of the child by his mother (heaven knows how many other times it's happened).

Hopefully Social Services will have been watching

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time
  • Blimey where does that lad learn that kinda language !

One caution - my 3 year old says a couple of things which make old ladies drop their shopping.

Firstly, we are working hard on manners, and he always says please / thank you as appropriate, now.

But he has a lot of trouble saying "th", so "thank you" unfortunately sounds a dead ringer for an invitation to go forth and multiply.

His other one is "clock". He misses out the "l" when saying it. OH got dressed in an incredible hurry when we went swimming last week, and Isaac pointed at a wall timepiece in the men's changing room and yelled "Look! !!!!!"
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

This programme makes me angry and last night's was no exception.

Why do parents churn out children they have no idea about bringing up? Everything about those children annoyed me. The boys swearing, fighting, hitting their parents. The one in the car refusing to wear his seatbelt - what was it with all those rings on his fingers?

As for the girl and the breastfeeding - words fail me! The parents sleeping in separate bedrooms. I am also amazed they are still together.

I think they are lazy and stupid - they cannot be bothered to bring their children up properly. Why would you let kids get away with such foul language. Even saying "I hate you" all the time is disgusting.

Do they really think it is ok for a 3 year old to breastfeed at all let alone every 3 hours? What would happen when she started school? Again just laziness.

When I see on these programmes just how many parents sleep separately because they have to sleep with their kids I am not surprised the divorce rate is so high in this country!
